On this trip in the Salzkammergut, you have the unique opportunity to explore the most enchanting places in this region. In addition to historically significant places such as Bad Ischl, you will also discover the impressive landscape of the Salzkammergut lakes. Framed by a massive mountain panorama, you cycle around Lake Hallstatt, along Lake Traunsee and to Lake Grundlsee. All of this with the comfort of a centre based tour, where you cleverly avoid the stress of packing your suitcase every day.

The tour starts in the direction of Bad Ischl, the center of the 23 municipalities in the Salzkammergut that have been selected as the European Capital of Culture for 2024. Visit the "Salt Lake City" exhibition or explore the Kaiservilla, the summer residence of the Habsburgs. On the way back to Bad Goisern, you have the opportunity to visit the exhibition "The Journey of Images" in Lauffen and the HAND.WERK.HAUS in Bad Goisern.
A relaxed cycle tour in Upper Austria leads along the Hallstatt Lake. Enjoy the short crossing by liner during your cycling holiday in Austria. The view of the untouched natural landscape of the Hallstatt-Dachstein region (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is impressive every time.
Travel by train to Gmunden and discover the town on the Traunsee. You return along the cycle path along the banks of the Traunsee and along the Traun to Bad Goisern. You can also shorten this bike day trip with a boat trip on the Traunsee.
Today you take the train to Bad Aussee in the Styrian Salzkammergut. Tip: The exhibition "The Journey of the Pictures" in the Kammerhof Museum in Bad Aussee tells the story of the adventurous journey of Nazi-looted art.
The final cycle tour takes you to Grundlsee. Take in the beguiling beauty of the Ausseerland region. It is breathtaking and unforgettable!
